Succulent. In one word that’s what these gloves are
They are made out of finger weight yarn consisting of 80 percent Super Wash Merino, 10 percent Cashmere, and 10 percent Nylon. This yarn has been hand painted by a very talented woman right here on Etsy. It is some of the highest quality yarn I have ever worked with

These gloves are truly handmade.I have no production partners.I do it allfrom designing, knitting, and finishing.I make them on a knitting machine in my home using a double tuck stitch. You will not find anything else even close. This stitch adds warmth and makes a fabric that will move with your hands the way they move.It also makes the color pop a little
All of my gloves fit an average size women’s hand…approximately 3.75 inches in width, with the hand being 5 inches and the cuff being 4 inches in length for a total length of 9 inches
This colorway is called ‘City Rain’ and that’s just what it looks like!A rainy night in the city with little drops of rain reflecting all the different color lights that are lit up.I believe that gloves like these should be as pretty to look at as they are comfortable and fun to wear. After all, you’re going to be wearing them all the time so you will be looking at them a lot!
First I knit the cuff.I make it long enough to cover the wrist well.Once that is hung I start with the tuck stitch carefully scrutinizing each row to make sure that all the stitches are formed correctly while adjusting it to make sure it will fit the shape of the hand well and making it just the right length. Then I add another cuff on the top to give them a crisp finished look.Once it is taken off the machine I bind off all the stitches completely by hand. This gives the fingers freedom to move around as apposed to linking the stitches which would not.I then rehang the stitches in just theright spot for adding the thumb (I believe fingerless gloves are not complete without a thumb).I then proceed to sew up the gloves completely by hand. Then I fasten the overlapping yarn threads (which occur in two places…right below the thumb and where the fingers are above the thumb and any place where I may have had to add a new skein of yarn) with a small stint using mysewing machine.
I am proud to show both the inside and outside of my work. You can see this in the last two photos
You can actually feel the quality when you put them on.With the merino wool for softness, cashmere for luxury, and nylon for durability there is no way you can go wrong with this pair of gloves
They are good for so many things like texting, surfing the web, or just chilling out. They’re also good for dressing up an outfit. They will make a great gift for your wife, girlfriend or any other special woman in your life on any occasion…Mothers day, Christmas, Hanukkah, Birthday, anniversary, graduation, retirement, Thanksgiving hostess, etc.No matter the occasion they will love the gift! And don’t forget about yourself. There’s nothing wrong with that!
You just better make sure you have a special place for them.If you want to put them on and can’t find them it’ll drive you nuts! This is my own design.
If there are any machine knitters out there that are interested in the pattern let me know.If I have enough interest I might try to list it
