The outer part of the mitten is made of flannel to prove a soft touch that is easily washable. The interior lining is made of a softflannel fabric. The flannel provided a soft and warm lining that is somewhat breathable. The inner lining is not attached to the to outer flannel layer. This allows you to pull out the inner lining for better drying after washing if you choose to air dry the mittens. the other benefit of this is that the inner lining acts as a fidget device while keeping its cute mitten shape.
