Knitted with three colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style.The yarns are hand dyed and 100% wool. Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK-weight yarn, they are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Using all three yarns at the same time, the triple-thick result is very warm.
This pattern comes from Lobodka area in historic Setomaa, located in South-East ESTONIA and partially inPskov Oblast in Russia. The lacy ribbing around the wrists is elegant like a bracelet.
