This is a pair of black leather gloves with the back of the palm decorated with black embroidered stitchery. Inside one glove is stamped Almondized Beautyskin, Made in America with pattern numbers. The other is stamped 6 1/2 Glovers Guild in their symbol, Washable. In researching how old these were and trying to find info on this glovers guild, I found a Beautyskin Glove Ad – Jane Wyman 1949 on ebay with an explanation of what Almondized Beautyskin was. These gloves were sold in high end stores.
Measures -10.25 from middle finger to top3 1/8 inches across the palm just above the thumb and just below the thumb is about 3.5 inches.
Condition – very good. looks like they were not worn. Couple of very light blemishes
